Natsume has announced their games being showcased at the E3 Media & Business Summit 2008.
Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness (DS)
Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness brings the largest portable Harvest
Moon experience ever to the Nintendo DS. Starting off with an
abandoned farm, a handful of seeds, and the determination to start a
new life, it's up to the player to develop a mysterious, abandoned
island into a bustling tropical paradise. By harvesting crops, raising
animals, and mining for precious gems, players will help the island
grow into a vibrant town filled with people, businesses, and eligible
bachelors and bachelorettes. Players can take on the role of a male or
a female, and choose who they want to fall in love and start a family
with. Players can also test their farming skills against each other
and compete for prizes via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility (Wii)
In Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility, players find themselves in a
troubled island town which once prospered with life and energy, but is
now in serious trouble. The mystical Mother Tree that once watched
over the island has disappeared, and the Harvest Goddess is nowhere to
be found! The island has lost its connection with nature and the
inhabitants don't know what to do - it's up to the player to save the
island! You must help to rebuild the island by tending to the earth,
befriending and raising animals, nurturing friendships, and creating a
family. Long-time Harvest Moon fans as well as new players will find
an exciting, involving storyline and plenty of activities including
cultivating crops, caring for animals, and participating in festivals.
All-new controls for the Nintendo Wii Remote give players the chance
to feel like they're really farming!
Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (DS)
Rune Factory 2 is set several years after the first game. The evil
Sechs Empire has been defeated, and the Kingdom of Norad is once again
at peace. Things may not stay that way for long, however, as dark
premonitions foretell of dangers to come. It's up to player to
uncover the source of these premonitions and bring peace to the
kingdom once more. In a first for the Rune Factory series, the story
of Rune Factory 2 is multigenerational. Players begin the game as
Kyle, a strange man who comes to Alvarna Village. Eventually, players
will take on the role of Kyle's child, opening up a whole new
adventure. It's an innovative feature that allows players to follow
the story of their family and the townsfolk over two generations! Rune
Factory 2 offers innovative Touch Screen controls, easy-to-use menus,
and an all-new compelling storyline.
Princess Debut (DS)
In Princess Debut, players find themselves in a fantasy world where
they have 30 days to get ready for the big ball. They'll have to
master their dance moves and win over one of the six handsome,
charming princes to be their partner. They'll meet and woo the princes
through the game's large, branching storyline and exciting events.
Once the player convinces a prince to be their dancing partner, it's
time to go out on the dance floor! Players will use the Touch Screen
to guide their character gracefully across the dance floor while
matching their partner's rhythm. All of the dances in the game are
taken from motion-captured professional dancers, so the game is just
as impressive to watch as it is fun to play.
Hamtaro (DS)
Join Hamtaro and all his friends in a variety of fun and educational
brain-training games designed for elementary school children. Children
will develop their memory, word comprehension, math skill, and many
other abilities as they play through 12 engaging, interactive games.
Parents can monitor their child's growing abilities, adjust the
difficulty level to match their child's skills, and reward them with
special items. Hamtaro and his friends make learning fun!
Yumi's Odd Odyssey (PSP)
Yumi's Odd Odyssey is a fast-paced puzzle platformer for the PSP.
Trapped in a bizarre world filled with spikes, pitfalls, and giant,
hostile fish with nothing but her wits and her trusty rubber fishing
line, Yumi will have to run, jump, climb, and swing her way to
freedom. Yumi's fishing line isn't just handy for fending off fish--it
also works like a grappling hook, allowing Yumi to latch onto and
swing from just about any part of the environment. The game's advanced
physics allow players to pull off remarkable feats of grappling
acrobatics and find new, creative ways through the open-ended levels.
With its colorful graphics, wild worlds, and ingenious grappling
gameplay, Yumi's Odd Odyssey will have players hooked!

You can now display your PSN ID online and check to see if your PS3 friends are online. It's similar to the Xbox 360's online gamercard profile, which gives you access to a few features from your PS3's PSN ID. New stuff you'll be able to do once you link your PSN ID to your PlayStation Underground (playstation.com) account, as noted by Sony:
- Identify yourself on the Web using your PLAYSTATION®Network portable ID
- Display your portable ID on social networking sites
- Meet other PLAYSTATION®Network members
- See who's who on the PlayStation® message boards
- Keep tabs on your PLAYSTATION®Network friends on the Web with the Friend List
You'll need to have a PlayStation Underground account and your PLAYSTATION 3's PSN ID ready. Sign in using your PlayStation Underground account (or sign-up if you don't have one), over here.
One you have those both your PSN ID and PSU account ready, go here to link them together. You will then be taken to a sign-in for your PSN ID. Once that is done, you'll be ready to get your HTML code! It may take a few minutes to become active, but check for it from your "Account Profile" page on your PSU account management. Click on the "PORTABLE ID >>" link.
The avatar and about me can only be changed from the PLAYSTATION 3. It definitely would be nice to see more details, like trophies or recently played games, but it looks like this is the beginning.
See more information on using your PlayStation Network Portable ID here.

Nintendo has announced today's new WiiWare and Virtual Console games. The following games are arriving on the Wii Shop today, after 9am PST:
WiiWare
Major League Eating: The Game™ (Mastiff, 1-2 players, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older—Crude Humor, 1,000 Wii Points): The ultimate chomp-off is about to begin. Grab your Wii Remote™ controller and dig into 12 different foods as you compete against the greatest major-league eaters in the world. This isn’t just a race to stuff your face—you’ll need strategy to master a smorgasbord of digestive attacks, defenses and counters. These include the Mega Burp, Gas Attack, Antacid and more. And don’t forget to keep an eye on your Barf-O-Meter, because if the food hits the plate twice, you’re out. Unlock more than 10 characters in single-player career mode, go gut-to-gut against your friends in versus mode, or compete online using Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection. Online play supports friend codes, random matchmaking and leader boards.
Virtual Console
Donkey Kong™ 3 (NES®, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 500 Wii Points): Based on the third game in the enormously popular arcade series, Donkey Kong 3 introduces an exterminator named Stanley as he desperately tries to protect the flowers in his greenhouse from Donkey Kong. Armed only with a can of bug spray, Stanley must force Donkey Kong higher and higher into the greenhouse rafters until Donkey Kong is off the screen and the next stage is reached. Not surprisingly, Donkey Kong isn’t going to move without a fight, so he sends wave after wave of bugs, bees and other creatures toward Stanley. Not only must Stanley repel the insects in order to save the flowers, but he’ll also have to keep an eye out for projectiles thrown by Donkey Kong himself. If Stanley is good enough, he’ll be able to grab a can of more powerful bug spray and really get Donkey Kong moving. It all adds up to frantic fun that anyone can enjoy.
NINJA COMMANDO (NEOGEO, 1-2 players, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older—Mild Language, Fantasy Violence, 900 Wii Points): NINJA COMMANDO is a vertically scrolling action game released by ADK in 1992. Players choose from among three ninjas—Joe, descended from the Koga ninja; Rayar, a woman who has learned the ways of the Iga ninja; and Ryu, descendant of the famous ninja Fuma Kotaro—as they pursue the merchant of death known as Spider, who plans to use a time machine to bring havoc to the world. The battle spans seven time periods, including the Stone Age, the Egyptian era and the Japanese Civil War era. Each hero features a variety of attack options in addition to their own normal attacks, including a deadly attack that inflicts damage upon all enemies on the screen, special ninja-arts attacks performed by inputting specific commands, and a powerful attack unleashed by taking on the “shape of the beast” when three scrolls have been collected. The game also supports two-player cooperative play, so you’re welcome to bring a friend and enjoy taking on the evil Spider together.

The line of music-rhythm gaming instruments and pro instruments are getting blurred. Ion will be providing a serious drum kit for Rock Band and Rock Band 2 gamers. The Drum Rocker was made by engineers of Alesis, promising to provide a professional piece of gear. Snare, tom and cymbal pads can be repositioned to your liking. The "ultra-quiet velocity sensitive" pads are housed within sturdy high-impact plastic. All held together by an aluminum drum rack. When you're ready to take the training wheels off the Drum Rocker, you can take out the game controller module and replace it with a pro one from Alesis.
The Drum Rocker will be available for the Xbox 360 in mid-September, with Ion working on a PLAYSTATION 3 and Wii release for later in the year.
See more images of the drum set, pads, cymbals and pedal here at the official website. The Drum Rocker will sell for $299.99. Pre-order it here if you're ready for it!

Capcom has released details on the upcoming Mega Man 9 game, confirmed for the Wii (WiiWare), Xbox 360 (XBLA), and PLAYSTATION 3 (PSN). The game stays true to its 8-bit roots, being designed today (graphics and audio) as if it were released in the NES era. The one feature that is modern day is online leaderboards. It's scheduled for a fall 2008 release. Here's the full details from Capcom:
The original 2D classic Mega Man returns in Mega Man 9 for Nintendo WiiWare, Xbox LIVE® Arcade, and PLAYSTATION® Network. This latest Mega Man title brings the series back to its old school roots with retro action platforming gameplay and classic 8-bit NES-style graphics and sound. Relive the Mega Man experience with classically inspired bosses, each with their own unique weapons and weaknesses.
The story of Mega Man begins in the year 200X, as the advanced science of the era has created industrial robots that co-exist with humans. However, an evil genius, Dr. Wily, plots for world domination and creates his own robot army to take over mankind. Luckily for humanity, Dr. Light outfits one of his domestic robots "Rock" to fight Dr. Wily's creations. Mega Man is born.
Set after the events of Mega Man 8, multiple riots have sprung up all over the world. Whilst many people suspect that this is another plot from Dr. Wily, Dr. Light is stunned to recognize that some of the robots rioting on the TV screen are his own creations. Even more stunning, Dr. Wily appears on television to proclaim that Dr. Light is the evil mastermind behind these latest catastrophic incidents and it's up to Mega Man to clear his creator's name!
Key features:
• Fun and addictive Mega Man graphics and gameplay focused around defeating bosses and acquiring a diverse arsenal of weapons
• Over a dozen challenging levels to tackle
• Over 50 new enemy and bosses to battle
• Character designs directed by Keiji Inafune, the original character designer of Mega Man.
• Online leaderboard ranking system, track your score and time with other Mega Man players
