Ok, so at this point it's pretty much definite that the Xbox 360 will be getting a price drop in the weekend (or following weekend) ahead. Kotaku was slipped another piece of evidence of the Xbox 360 Pro System dropping $50. From the blurry image, it looks like it was taken from the online Best Buy Ad (the Flash version) using the magnifier tool. From someone with access to that behind the scenes, as the 6-29-08 online ad is currently on BestBuy.com. Besides confirmation of the $299 Xbox 360 Pro in the Best Buy ad, other leaked retailer ads include Kmart, Radio Shack and another undisclosed "major" retailer. We're ready for the word, Microsoft.

A DC Universe MMO (massively multiplayer online) game is in the works from Sony Online Entertainment. You'll find most of the first details, screenshots and artwork here on the DC Universe Online MySpace page. You'll also want to sign up as a friend asap, if you're planning on attending Comic-Con. The first public demo of the game will be shown at Comic-Con on July 25th, Friday. SOE Austin is developing the game, with artwork being created by Jim Lee and Wildstorm. There will also be a DCUO Spotlight Panel at Comic-Con from 12:30-1:30 PDT on July 25th. Space is limited to the first 250 people, where you can also snag a signed Jim Lee poster. Visit the DCUO MySpace page for details.
Wes Yanagi, the Senior Producer on DC Universe Online, says: "DCUO is all about fulfilling your super hero fantasy. We're building a world where you feel like you've stepped into the DC Universe and become the ultimate super-hero (or villain) along side of Superman, Batman, or Ambush Bug (for you hardcore comic fans)."
If you can't attend Comic-Con, the good news is we've confirmed an E3 session with Sony Online Entertainment for a peek, so we will definitely have more on it soon!
See a "first look" artwork trailer below of Gotham City, Metropolis and some DC heroes and villains! The first screenshots can also be seen on the DCUO MySpace page.

At first it seemed like pure speculation, yet truth be told Chrono
Trigger is receiving a portable makeover. The classic 1995 Super NES RPG is
returning in a similar fashion to Final Fantasy 3 and 4, taking advantage of the JRPG
revitalization.
The title features the return of character design lead, Akira Toriyama
of Dragon Ball fame, who lends his talent once again to the art
direction. One can rest assured that Chrono Trigger's remake is being
handled with care, also featuring the return of composer Yasunori
Mitsuda.
Here is what Square Enix inputs on what players should know Chrono Trigger for,
and revealing to Greenhorns around what to expect from Chrono Trigger
the reboot:
"With a unique and multifaceted storyline, the game revolutionized the
world of RPGs with never-before-seen features, including an
unprecedented soundtrack and multiple endings determined by side
quests and the player's actions."
This remake still features the spirit and direction of Chrono Trigger,
while implementing new functionality in-game, via Touch Screen/Dual Screen control. An
intuitive battle system will be utilized for the upcoming release,
which is being dubbed "Active Time Battle." It will also allow for
customization through acquired "Tech Skills." Chrono Trigger will
include a bonus dungeon and Wireless Play, adding to the list of
features being introduced in this remake. Chrono Trigger for the
Nintendo DS is headed for a market now flooded by JRPGs, but
withstands the test of time, based on its already monumental legacy.
This remake will only extend that lifecycle of greatness, showcasing
an era when games were about creativity and not sales (while still
selling 2.5 million copies worldwide).
Expect a release from Square Enix's Chrono Trigger sometime this
holiday season in North America.
Watch for more at the official website.
