The official US street date for the Nintendo DS Lite has been broken. Posts at CAG report that several Target stores and Walmarts are already selling Nintendo DS Lite units in the US. It has also been reported on the Nintendo and Xbox Forums. Maybe retailers are confusing it with June 1? Post here if you've found one. The official street date in the US is June 11, 2006.

"Microsoft has been waiting on the sidelines until its gaming console and software business reached sustainability, all the while watching closely how Nintendo and consumers in general would respond to Sony's PSP."

A new, smaller DS Rumble Pak cartridge will be available for the Nintendo DS Lite. The Nintendo DS Lite's cartridge slot is smaller than the original Nintendo DS, causing a cartridge to stick out a bit. The new half height DS Lite Rumble Pack allows the add-on rumble feature, used in games such as Metroid Prime Pinball, to fit snug inside the slot. XCM 360 Fan Cooler With Temperature Control For Xbox 360 E-mail
Xbox 360 News Bits
Written by Rivithed
Monday, 29 May 2006
A third fan accessory will be available soon for the Xbox 360. This add-on fan goes a bit further, providing a temperature display and control of the cooling fan speed for the Xbox 360 CPU/GPU processors. The installation, however, isn't as simple as the Nyko Intercooler (plugs in externally to the back) or the Pelican Fan Stand (plugs in externally to the bottom). This fan requires installation inside you Xbox 360, as demonstrated here. This fan addition may be best for those modifying their Xbox 360 case completely, whom have run out of the Xbox 360 warranty and are not concerned about shifting things around internal Xbox 360 components. Availability and price is yet to be announced.
