Paramount Pictures and Microsoft have partnered in a new program, "Xbox Movie Showcase". Besides bringing HD downloadable movie trailers, there will also be exclusive theme packs, and graphics that Xbox gamers customize their Xbox with. The program will begin with two movies: "Mission Impossible III" (May 5) and "Nacho Libre" (June 16). Celebrities from the movies will also participate in the "Game With Fame" program on Xbox Live. Jack Black, who stars in "Nacho Libre", will participate in Xbox's "Game with Fame". (Don't think we'll be getting to do some Halo 2 with Tom Cruise tho!)

Go back to those OLD school days of handheld gaming with this Nintendo DS Water game, filled with candy treats. The handheld Water DS game comes in 3 flavors for $6.95 a piece. From Lik-Sang : "This rendition of an NDS can be filled with water and is then ready to actually be played (no joke!). There are three water-based mini games available, involving characters like Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, Wario, Luigi and Yoshi! One-of-a-kind, rare toy from Subarudo. Water not included. So, if a "real" Nintendo DS system is beyond your budget, this sure provides a fun alternative."
There's also a DS styled voice recorder that lets you record and playback several minutes of audio for $8.95. So tie yourself over with these until the DS Lite comes to the US in May(?).

Do you play games or do they play you? According to a report and study on ABC Online (Australia), playing video games makes you paranoid and suspicious. The study "shows young men are more likely to think it is acceptable to smoke marijuana and drink alcohol after playing a violent game." What do you think? Yeah, talking to YOU. (Kids like this definitely don't help!) Write Comment (0 Comments) |
