Today's update on the Playstation 3 shifting release date come from Gamasutra. The article says Sony Japan has a possible PS3 delay due to the console’s Blu-ray drive parts. This places the PS3 at an October release in Japan and a November or December release in the U.S. Remember, no official launch date from Sony yet, so technically, no delay. The industry has placed a speculated Spring launch on the console.

Sony PSP Keyboard Killed E-mail
Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) News Bits
Written by Rivithed
Monday, 27 February 2006
As tempting and functional that Logic 3's PSP Keyboard attachment appeared to be, the mirage has all but gone with the peripheral getting cancelled. Logic 3 was unable to get support from Sony in the development of the keyboard. Rumors of the cancellation swing either to Sony's own development of a keyboard or Sony's belief that there is no demand for a keyboard add-on. (Does Sony think we are so quick with our fingers!?!). The official page for Bomberman Act Zero (Japan) has gone live. The game is slated to come to the Xbox 360 in Japan. No official U.S. announcement has been made. Check out the screen shots and video (bottom of the page) to see the cutesy cartoon character gone hardcore. Reminds me of the move Al Jourgenson, Ministry frontman, made from soft synth music to hardcore thrashing. More from Hudson Japan here.
