Majesco Loses: Canceled Games E-mail
General Gaming News Bits

Financial losses and troubles from Majesco mean we will be losing out on some titles for now which include Demonik and Taxi Driver for the Xbox 360. Demonik sounded like an original, promising game coming from the mind of Cliver Barker, where you play the role of a demon out to get the heroes after you. Troubles with Advent Rising's online million dollar giveaway (never happened due to glitches), unsuccessful sales of the original Psychonauts title, delays in the release of Jaws and selling off The Darkness were some of the major setbacks.

EA has official announced price drops on last generations games. Looks like an ongoing trend after we've reported Toys R Us dropping titles to $10. You can get some pretty sweet deals on games you may have missed, but if you have a 360, it'll be pretty tough tearing you away even at $10. More on the drop from Gamespot here.

The first officially confirmed launch titles for the Japanese launch of the PS3 have been confirmed by Sony. The games included on the list are: Genji 2, Angel Rings, Monster Carnival, Everybody's Golf 5, Gran Turismo Series and The Eye of Judgement. Being that a few are RPGs that therefore need translation time and Golf is bigger in Japan gaming then here in the States, the only game on this list to likely be an influencing title is Gran Turismo. Finding an old school gaming gem in new condition could cost you some cash on eBay. And that's considering even if you find it there. Games like Rez, Symphony of the Night and others could cost run twice the price of their original release. Game Quest Direct is an online gaming store that has made, and will make, arrangements with publishers to get new, factory sealed re-prints released at their original selling price. Check out Game Quest Direct here. Got a game you are looking for? Post it here and we will let them know!
