Sony empowers girl gamers with a Pink PSP. Backed by P!nk, the limited edition will go on sale in Europe starting October 27, 2006. The package includes (for £169): A pink PSP, battery, AC adapter, white headphones, PSP pouch, wrist strap, a 32 meg Memory Stick Duo and a UMD featuring P!nk content.

A brand manager from SCEE says: "The P!nk PSP launch is much more than just launching a new colour. It is about a confident and powerful attitude for young women. The association with P!nk, a worldwide icon and musical chameleon, will enable PSP to push new boundaries."

Is it just me, or is this dumb.

I think it is really dumb that Sony hyped this up over the weekend. Sony told the press that they had some big news regarding the Playstation last Friday, and then they come out today with this as their big news. That is just ridiculous.
