Coming to Xbox Live Arcade is a sequel to Tempest 2000/3000, tentatively titled "Space Giraffe" (taken from the name of the main character). Looks like it will be giving Geometry Wars a run for its money in the color spectrum/orgy department! The Xbox Live Vision Camera is enabled in the game as well (looks like liquid camera effect is there). Jeff Minter's comments from blog: "You'll also get new Neon effects supporting the webcam input as unlockables. That's to make up for the fact that MS stiffed me on doing a proper new version of Neon to truly support the cam, and instead have done some half-assed thing where they just superimpose some cam effect layers over existing Neon. I figure that was a bit rude, so I'll put some proper cam-Neon stuff in the new game by way of schoolin." The XBLA game will cost 400 Microsoft Points, according to the blog. Visit the blog from Space Giraffe's creator Jeff Minter for more screenshots and info.
