Kotaku has posted word that Sony Japan has officially announced the PSP Camera and GPS Receiver for a December 2006 release in Japan.
From Kotaku: "Sony Computer Entertainment Japan set a launch date for the PSP "Chotto Shot" ("Quick Shot") Camera and the GPS Receiver. The camera and the receiver will go sale on December 7th for 5,000 yen (approx. US $44) and 6,000 yen (approx. US $54) respectively." See the official (and in Japanese) press release here.
