They say developers are desperately using the motion features to compensate for less buttons. The point behind less buttons and motion sensors is to have greater control and reflexes playing games. It is much more intuitive to jump with a quick flick of the nunchuck unit. Providing the motion sensors are tuned correctly in terms of sensitivity. The point is to do actions as they come naturally leaving you only to think about fewer buttons to press making a simpler and much more precise control scheme. Some may think it's confusing but it depends what you prefer. But i tell you this. A player with a keen eye and reflexes will totally outplay, outmanouver and outcast an opponent on traditional 2 joystick 14 button configurations. I totally understand the concerns as you are looking at a still screen and reacting accordingly. But with leaps in game physics and control the player will be playing as though they are the character. PS3 crysis is beautiful and will play just aswell. Wii farcry vengeance looks good as well. I suggest more detailed textures over contrasting. Si would like to see crysis on the wii. The key i believe to the wii control scheme is VR headset withmotion tracker and built in 3D stereo vision. This way you eliminate the camera and aim/crosshair clash and allows you shoot enemies with accurate depth of aim. 3D tereo is not hard at all for ubisoft or nintendo to implement. Now you could point your weapon where you want instead of the crosshair and weapon corresponding. Also you have camera and aiming independent of each other. Although wii has no HD output i'm sure there is software to give the same effect. concluding that the wii is a great console is an understatement. You just need to understand the concept and see if you better adapt to it.
