Apple announced an upgrade to its Video iPod yesterday along with iTunes 7. With that came news of "Games" as a new addition to the iTunes Store. Fifth generation Video iPods now support games, which you can download from iTunes 7 for $4.99 each. You can even send a friend a game as a gift (via "Gift This Game")! Pretty neat feature (note that XBLA crew!). Games can also be previewed from iTunes 7.

The intial nine titles available for the Video iPod are:

- Bejeweled
- Cubis 2
- Mahjong
- Mini Golf
- Pac-Man
- Tetris
- Texas Hold'em
- Vortex
- Zuma

Read more from Apple's iPod Games here. Can't wait to see what else is to come and how this impacts the casual gamer market!
