Keep a lookout for Wii preorders at your local Gamestop/EB Games shops by end of this week. While in line for the PS3 pre-orders this past Tuesday, Gamestop store employees had mentioned that Wii preorders will likely begin by end of this week. Gamestop store employees also mentioned that there should be significantly more Wii consoles for pre-order, about 50 units per store, compared to the 8-16 units each store had for the PS3. If you haven't signed up for the notification of Wii preorders at Gamestop, jump to it here, as word will likely come from the newsletter first (as it did for the PS3 preorders). UPDATE 1: Go Nintendo has posted a Gamestop/EB Games memo that confirms Wii pre-orders will happen this Friday, the 13th of October. Any of you planning on taking a trip back to Gamestop/EB Games to reserve a Wii? UPDATE 2 (10-12-06): GameDaily has received confirmation from Gamestop management that pre-orders will happen tomorrow at Gamestop/EB Games stores. Line up early!
