Limited PS3 Bundles Available Online From GameStop.com/EBgames.com Tonight PDF Print E-mail

With today's release of the Playstation 3 console, the odds of finding a PS3 are going to be slim unless you've been camping out for days. Most online retailers cancelled their online sales due to extremely limited supplies. GameStop.com/EBgames.com is one retailer offering a limited sale of 20 gig PS3 bundles tonight, to be available for shipping on December 1st.

The 20 gig PS3 model, besides being 40 gigs less in storage space than the other 60 gig model, lacks built-in wi-fi capabilities and memory card slots (see the details here). With this online offering coming in a bundle only, expect the cost to go beyond the $599 60 gig model. The 20 gig model alone runs for $499.

An email notification sent by GameStop.com/EBgames.com gave word that the 20 gig PS3 bundle will be available from this link (or this link) tonight. From GameStop.com/EBgames.com:

"Dear GameStop.com/EBgames.com Customer:

We will have an extremely limited supply of 20GB PlayStation 3 console bundles for preorder on our site Friday evening, November 17th.

We expect these bundles to ship on or before December 1st. When the bundle is activated on our site, you can find it here:
http://www.gamestop.com/gs/ps3/ps3_signup.asp
http://www.ebgames.com/gs/ps3/ps3_signup.asp

We will not offer 60GB PlayStation 3 console bundles until our store pre-orders have been filled, but check back soon for future preorder opportunities.

Receipt of this email does not guarantee an opportunity to purchase. Orders will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.

Thank you,
GameStop.com/EBgames.com"
