If you haven't picked up a Wii console by now, it's likely that the odds of finding the new Nintendo console are going to pretty tough. The Associated Press is reporting that many stores have sold out.

From the AP report: "Nintendo's entry into the game console wars, the Wii (wee), went on sale today. It quickly sold out in many stores despite stocks that far surpassed those of the rival Sony PlayStation 3, which went on sale two days earlier."

We'll keep you up to date on when the next shipments will be hitting retailers and/or online shops.

UPDATE: Give NintendoWiipreorders.com a try in your search for a Wii. Keep in mind that auction sites (eBay and Overstock) are typically listed as "available," but the price is likely to be much higher than retail. Look for retailers being tracked on NintendoWiipreorders.com.
