Sony has setup a support site for checking backwards compatibility of PSone and Playstation 2 games on the PS3. Make sure you check the status of any older games before getting too far into them on the PS3. Some games may play, but have audio, control, or other issues. Hopefully you'll get the message: "No major problems for this title."
