Early numbers for holiday sales in the U.S. of next-gen consoles are coming in. Looks like it was quite an X-mas. According to a report from NPD, the Xbox 360 led sales from November to December 25.
The initial numbers for holiday sales in the U.S.: NPD is expected to release the complete data sometime January. A report from G4's "The Feed" placed the Wii as the winner in global sales, at 3.19 million units sold. And don't count the PS3 out as of yet, or at least until 2010. According to a report from Market research firm Datamonitor, "the PlayStation 3 will emerge as the dominate console during the current hardware generation, with an install base of around 75 million globally by 2010."
