Wii Sports Makes #1 Spot In TIME Magazine's Top Ten Video Games List PDF Print E-mail

TIME posted its Top Ten list of Video Games, stating "Great graphics don't always make great video games, as we learned in '06." With that, Nintendo's Wii Sports scores the top spot, nudging Gears of War to second place. TIME Magazine's picks are as follows:

1- Wii Sports (Wii- bundled with Wii Console)
2- Gears of War (Xbox 360)
3- New Super Mario Bros. (DS)
4- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)
5- Resistance: Fall of Man (PS3)
6- Prey (Xbox 360/PC)
7- Table Tennis (Xbox 360)
8- Guitar Hero II (PS2)
9- LEGO Star Wars II (Xbox, Xbox 360, Gamecube, PS2)
10- Bully (PS2)

There are some good titles on the list, but I wouldn't call it definitive for 2006 game releases. Surprising that titles such as Brain Age or The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion didn't make the list.
