In a recent announcement, Nintendo signed a deal with the Six Flags chain of theme parks that would make it the "Official Gaming Console" of the chain. The marketing deal included plans to set up interactive kiosks in the park and a Six Flags sweepstakes on Nintendo.com. This move is seen to be an effort by Nintendo to gain more recognition with a wider array of family members, not just the kids.
