Capcom has announced it will be licensing Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3 for an upcoming, yet to be announced game.
"More than just a graphics engine, UE3 will empower the development team to create the quality experience that gamers expect from a Capcom product,” said Mark Beaumont, Capcom's head of software publishing in North America and Europe. Recent developers/publishers to license the Unreal Engine 3 include Activision, Square-Enix, Electronic Arts and Sony Online Entertainment, to name a few. Unreal Engine 3 is proving to be a key part to next-generation game development. Read more about Epic Games here. From Next-Gen.biz.
