Video chats on the PS3 also support more people chatting together than the limited two-way video chats on the Xbox 360. Firmware 1.54 also lets you go into a full screen mode with video chat, which you cannot do on the 360. Unfortunately, the lag time can make video chatting on the PS3 a pain to use. Even during a voice-only chat, the lag time was pretty bad (about 3 seconds). Oddly, voice chat while on Resistance: Fall of Man has less lag than chatting from the PS3's main interface (XMB). If you don't have an Eye Toy or don't want another camera around your entertainment center, the Live Vision Camera is worth using.

BUT, unfortunatly the 360 will always be better, just because of the online experience and the dashboard, its just like all there in your face videos to watch straight away etc... you just straight away feel part of a community! now that to me is a perfect console as i LOVE online play as i grow tired of games very quik! but when you can play online the game is reborn. everyone says you can online play on the ps3 but simple fact is.... you cant, it seems a chore to do anything, find a game, then a none laggy match, then some serious players, then some players that talk! its all so monotonous.     and the wii.... well everyone who has bought a wii will say its the best thing ever, but thats just because there trying to lie to themselves that they havnt just wasted there money :P    in the end of the day, if you dont like online and purely want a console just for you and you only on a game, i say get the ps3.    but if you want a full gaming experience with the whole package, games and online play and a huge community, please i beg of you get the 360! dont be persuaded by the black Adonis that is ps3. i only use mine for the blueray dvd player, thats it.... oh yeh and little big planet for my girlfriend :P but even she owns a 360 :P    hope ive helped you make a decision and dont bother spamming me with all your ps3 fanboy'ness... because the truth is... i wont be able to put the time aside for you while im on my SUPER 360!!
