Rumor has it that details from Phil Harrison's upcoming speech at the Games Developer Conference have been discovered by folks at the Neoseeker forums. Even though this is just a "rumor" we'll entertain you with the details.
Let's start with the firmware upgrade:
-More refined PS Store front end Allegedly, Sony is planning to remove the Emotion Chips from all future consoles to cut costs and use software emulation for backward compatibility and to upscale PSone and PS2 games to High Def. There is also new content listed here to be released on the PS Store March 8th:
-Tekken 6 trailer Phil Harrison's keynote presentation, "Game 3.0: Developing and Creating for the 3rd Age of Videogames," will take place on March 7th, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PST. We'll have updates on GamingBits as soon as they are announced on Wednesday. Read more here.
