IGN spoke to an SCEA representative to clear up the issue. "Officially, Warhawk will be released as a Blu-ray-based product," commented the SCEA rep. "It will see release in late summer."

We have also received confirmation that Warhawk will be a blu-ray, disc based release. Hope the disgruntled employee didn't leave based on the rumor.
