Bungie's latest updates on Halo 3 reveals the details of working the X button in the game. Currently dubbed the "Equipment" button, the X button will allow the use of the Bubble Shield and Trip Mines. There's another piece of equipment for the X button that has yet to be announced. Gamers worried about the landscape covered with igloo lookin' bubble shields do not fret. Equipment is said to be rare to balance things out. The Bubble Shield is only protective against blasts as well.
In regards to the graphics in the recently released multiplayer vidoc (video documentary), here's what Bungie's Frankie responded: "You can decide for yourself if you like the look of the game in a few weeks, and you’ll certainly recognize moments and areas from that footage. All three levels however, have undergone significant improvements since that footage was taken, months ago, including lighting, decorators, textures, and my favorite – water effects. I don’t want to overpromise here and set your expectations too high, so I am deliberately capping the type of language I use to discuss these improvements.
