While the Wii emulates SNES games via the Virtual Console, a modder has gone with emulating a SNES to the form factor of a Wii. A french modder by the name of Kotomi has created a SNES casing, dubbed the Nii, that has a blue glow around the cartridge slot and stands upright like the Wii. The Nii even uses the Wii Classic Controller. Read more at his blog (if you understand French).
