A playable demo for Ninja Gaiden Sigma is now available for download from the Playstation 3's Japanese Playstation Store (and now US!). The download is nearly 1 gig. (If you don't have a Japanese account on your US PS3, here's a tip on how to set one up to download the Japanese Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo).
“The Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo is a great way for Playstation 3 owners to get a sneak peek at the Team NINJA masterpiece,” said Yoh Watanabe, Tecmo’s Marketing Manager. “For the first time ever, Ninja Gaiden will be playable exclusively on a PlayStation platform and we’re amazed at how incredible Sigma looks and feels. This is the must-have demo for the must-have game.” The download will likely be coming to the US Playstation Online Store later today, so keep a lookout for the US release. Check it out and let us know your impressions! We'll be posting a video online soon! Watch for it here. Once the US version is confirmed as available, we'll update this posting here. UPDATE: The Japanese PSN download is in English, so other than a few initial screens, the interface and game language is English. If you can't wait to get the download in the US (which as of 4:30 PM EST is still not in the US PSN), it's worth checking it out now!
