Bungie's Frankie updates us with the latest happenings in the Halo world. Glitches in the download of the recently released Halo 2 Blastacular Maps have caused a delay in the Matchmaking update, which will happen next week. In regards to the Halo 3 Beta, a limited version of the "Saved Films" feature will be available to try out. The multiplayer beta will also support two-player split screen play.
Another piece of Halo 3 promotional imagery was revealed, titled "Emotion." Check out a high resolution image here. As for the May 11th "Save The Date," which you may have heard about earlier, that will be a Public Beta preview for press to get time to do write ups on it. Frankie also dispels rumors of 1080p 60fps play in Halo 3. "Halo 3 will display at 1080p through the Xbox Elite with its scaler and HDMI port, but not natively," stated Frankie. Lastly, the Halo 3 Beta control scheme in the default setting was revealed in its current state. Check it out below. Read more details at Bungie.net.
