Omega Force, the game developers that brought us Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, is bringing futuristic Mobile Suit combat to the PS3 and Xbox 360 with Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM. If you're familiar with the gameplay and strategy of Dynasty Warriors, you'll be able to pickup on Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM in no time. AI is said to be beefed up and spread out among the fast-paced playfield, so expect more than Dynasty Warriors dressed in Mobile Suits. With the debut of Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM on HD gaming consoles, a higher level of graphic detail was attainable than the other "Warriors" games which started on earlier generation consoles.
A summary of the Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM - "Created by Koei's renowned Omega Force development team, Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM takes gamers through an intergalactic conflict where the only hope for survival is to annihilate the encroaching opposing forces. It will be one-versus-many as gamers fight at lightning speed aboard their favorite Mobile Suit, the ultimate weapon of war. Bringing the epic fast-paced action of the Dynasty Warriors franchise to the futuristic battlegrounds of the rich, detailed setting of the Gundam universe, Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM will provide legendary entertainment for hours of enjoyment." Localization Producer Nobuaki Taguchi from Namco Bandai Games revealed that up to 150 Mobile Suits can be on the battlefield at a time. Taguchi also commented on one of his favorite features in Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM, the option of having Japanese voiceovers with on-screen English text. You'll also want to turn on the english voiceovers as Taguchi stated,"You can trust me on this one, they have done a very excellent job on the english voiceovers, especially considering there is a lot of actors." A demo for Dynasty Warriors:GUNDAM was released on the PS3's Playstation Store today. Watch a video of the PS3 demo below. An Xbox 360 demo is "being looked into," but has not been announced.
