PS3 gamers may be disappointed that Beautiful Katamari may have slipped away to the Xbox 360, but word from Tokyo today is that there may be another unique PS3 title to look forward to. Keita Takahashi, designer of Katamari Damacy, is working on a new Playstation 3 title, shown today by Namco Bandai Games at Sony's PlayStation Premier Event in Tokyo.
From IGN: "Titled Nobi Nobi Boy, all we have on this PlayStation 3 title are just a couple of pieces of artwork. The artwork and name ("Nobi" can mean "to stretch" in Japanese) suggests that the game will center around a flexible wormlike creature of some form." Stretching instead of rolling? The image below shows a similar art style to that of Katamari. Not much details yet, but its good to see that the Keita is still dreaming up new stuff for gamers. See more at IGN.
