Announced at last week's Playstation Premiere event in Tokyo, the PSP TV is a "1Seg Tuner" that will enable the PlayStation Portable 2.0 (aka Lite) to receive digital television broadcasts. The PSP TV tuner will cost 6,980 yen (about $60). It won't be compatible with the current PSP model (PSP-1000), as it is designed for the upcoming slimmer PSP. It will launch alongside the newly announced, lighter PSP in Japan. No word on if it coming to the US.
