Microsoft continues its trend of releasing two Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) games, at two pricepoints, on Wednesdays with this week's XBLA titles.
Bungie's Marathon 2: Durandal (as known back in the 90's on the Mac and PC) will be available from the Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday as "Marathon: Durandal." The classic FPS game will be available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Marathon: Durandal gets upgraded visuals, online play and updated controls in this Xbox 360 release. In addition to Marathon, the Xbox Live Arcade gets some classic board games with Spyglass Board Games. Chess, Checkers, Mancala and Reversi are included, in addition to the Xbox 360 Vision Camera support so you can play face to face. Game pieces can be customized "from traditional marble, to metallic silver, to fuzzy and wiggling gel." Spyglass Board Games can be purchased for 400 Microsoft Points ($5).
