It's been circulating the web for the last few days now, and we've been sitting on the sidelines waiting for more evidence to surface. With three different retailers cited, it is almost as bad as when Microsoft tried to ignore rumors of the Xbox 360 Elite console before its official announcement.
Here are the three "leaked" retailer ad circulars listing a price drop on the Xbox 360 console: - Wal-Mart flyer and Toys R Us flyer (see on CheapAssGamer.com): Lists Xbox 360 Premium for $349. - Circuit City flyer (see on Joystiq): Beginning 8/12 the Xbox 360 Core will be $280, the Xbox 360 Premium will be $350, the Xbox 360 Elite will be $450. With a date of Sunday, August 12th pinpointed, we have less than two weeks to see it come together.
