Infinity Ward released a new video for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare showing how "perks" work in a multiplayer match. Watch the "C4," "RPG," "Bomb Squad," "Deep Impact," "Martyrdom," and "Last Stand" perks take place in real-time and then rewind and show you how they're used.
"This all-new video shows a side of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Multiplayer unlike anything you've seen so far - first you'll be taken through an intense stretch of gameplay on the "Vacant" map; then, you'll be taken back through it again, this time with explanations of each player's pertinent Perks and Weapons - the stuff that made the gameplay intense in the first place. Inifinity Ward also mentioned a short countdown timer to the release of the Xbox 360 Multiplayer beta will soon be online. UPDATE: A posting on the Charlie Oscar Delta forums says "there will be a way for people to register for the beta starting 5pm PST tomorrow (ed: which is today, August 21st). Some of those will be playing as early as tomorrow night..". The post does say that the COD 4 beta will be rolled out over a few days, so don't worry if you don't get in tonight (anyway, don't you have BioShock to play?!).
