| Halo Wars Video Demo Coming Today |

Watch for a gameplay video demo of Halo Wars on Xbox Live today. The video, from E3 and Leipzig showings, should be appearing on the Marketplace and on Ensemble Studios' web site sometime today. The Xbox 360 exclusive RTS game (no PC port planned) is based on the Halo universe and takes place just before the first Halo game. Players will take on the role of the UNSC to fight it out with the Covenant, RTS style. The video will feature commentary from Ensemble Studios, the developers of the game that also brought us Age of Empires.
From CVG: "The short preview consists of a massive UNSC base and a skirmish with an army of Covenant forces - complete with hulking Scarab walker." A playable demo will be released sometime before the game's retail debut. An official release date has not been announced. Visit the official web site for Halo Wars here.
