Wii Guitar Hero III Les Paul Guitar Includes Rumble and Speaker Functionality PDF Print E-mail

Red Octane and Activision will be including several unique features to the Wii Les Paul guitar in Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock. Activision's Vicarious Visions is working on the Wii version and integrating the Wii Remote into the guitar. The back of the guitar provides the compartment access to place a Wii Remote inside. Once its plugged in, you'll be treated to features unique to the Wii Les Paul guitar:

- Rumble: The Wii Remote shakes up the guitar during Star Power and compliments other effects in the game.
- Speaker Output: The built-in Wii Remote's speaker is used to provide the "squelch" sound when you miss a note. This can be assigned back to the TV if you prefer, but having it come from the guitar itself will add that bonus touch of immersion.

Besides the new features, The Wii Remote's control pad will be used to navigate the Wii Menu and motion capability will be used for "Star Power."

Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock will be available for $89.99 at the end of October 2007 for the Wii. Could the Wii release top sales of other GH3 console releases? Which version would you get?

The early prototype looked better, it guitar looks kind of cheap...

i think the wii will be the most unique 1.
