With the embargo lifted, reviews for Halo 3 are pouring out. Not that it's going to sway the Halo hardcore. It's more of a nod that Halo 3 is yet another ace Xbox 360 exclusive, joining games in the 'A' category such as BioShock and Gears of War. Yet another contender for Game of the Year.

Here's the breakdown of some Halo 3 reviews:
- 1UP: 10 out of 10
- Game Informer: 9.75 out of 10
- GamePro: 5 out of 5
- GameSpot: 9.5 out of 10
- GameSpy: 5 out of 5
- IGN: 9.5 out of 10

The game's most criticized point is the single-player campaign, which some felt didn't have a good conclusion. Halo 3 will undoubtedly secure the number-one spot in Xbox Live online play, with all the multiplayer features (see more on that here). Don't be surprised if that is in the years to come, as its been for the original Xbox's Halo 2.

Halo 3 will be available as a Halo 3 Standard Edition ($59.99) , Halo 3 Limited Edition ($69.99) and Halo 3 Legendary Edition ($129.99- likely to go up in value with its limited run) starting 12:01 am on Tuesday, September 25th.
