| Midway Anticipates Delay Of Unreal Tournament 3, Epic Games Still Targets 2007 Release |

Midway's playing it safe for investors, while Epic Games is keeping optimistic for gamers on Unreal Tournament III's release date for the PS3. In yesterday's financial update, Midway stated "the expected movement of Unreal Tournament 3 for the PLAYSTATION 3 system into the first quarter of fiscal 2008." The PS3 version was originally scheduled for release at the same time as the PC release on November 19, 2007. UT3 was to be a timed exclusive for the PS3, with the Xbox 360 release scheduled for 2008.
Epic Games' Marc Rein says they're still hard at work to get the release before end of 2007. "As a public company, Midway felt an obligation to its shareholders to let them know about the possibility of a delay. But our goal is still to get the PS3 version of UT3 in stores before the end of 2007," said Rein.
