The Xbox 360's JRPG game Blue Dragon is headed to the Nintendo DS. Following a similar path to Rare's Viva Piņata, Blue Dragon may have a better reception on the handheld platform than it fared on the Xbox 360. Blue Dragon was developed by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, whom now leads the development studio Mistwalker. Mistwalker is also working on Lost Odyssey for the Xbox 360, coming in 2008. The Blue Dragon DS title is scheduled for release in Japan in March 2008 and is being developed by FeelPlus. No official announcement for a US release.
