Ready for a nice diversion from Halo 3? Surely the addictive Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords can tear some of us away. D3 Publisher is anticipating the Xbox Live Arcade game to be out next week on October 10th. Xboxic is reporting the price tag to be 1200 Microsoft Points ($15.00), cheaper than the DS ($19.99) and Sony PSP ($29.99) portable versions of Puzzle Quest.
The Xbox 360 XBLA release will have the standard achievements, online multiplayer and feature 150+ quests in the RPG/Puzzle hybrid game. Gameplay is centered around a Bejeweled-like puzzle game. What's unique is the blend of RPG stats, experience points and modifiers. This is the game that gets most of my PSP playtime and if you've played it, you already know how it can suck you in.
