In an odd move for big game titles with scheduled release dates, Sony Computer Entertainment of America (SCEA) is encouraging you to break a street date. Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction may show up on retailer's shelves a week before the scheduled October 30, 2007 release date.
From SCEA's Greg Phillips at the Playstation Blog: "Well, due to some unexpected quickness at the factory, a vast majority of retailers have already received the game. With that, some retailers are choosing to release the game next week instead of waiting until the 30th, which we are all too happy to allow :)."
