With the holidays soon approaching, there are plenty of game titles coming out every week. There's a lot of great games anticipated in the months ahead, along with a few not to miss in the shuffle. So I'll be posting a weekly update on Monday mornings of what game releases to look forward to in the week ahead. For a listing of all the week's releases, be sure to subscribe to our weekly Sunday e-mail Newsletter (in the left column).
For the week of October 22nd, featuring some Halloween flavor, here's what to keep a lookout for:
Xbox 360:
- Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (w/ Flightstick Bundle): Packed with a cockpit!
- Clive Barker's Jericho
- Conan
Playstation 3:
- Clive Barker's Jericho
- Conan
- The Eye of Judgment (includes PlayStation Eye Camera) : The PS3's Playstation Eye launches this week with the Eye of Judgment game. It'll be available next week, solo, for $39.99 .
- The Eye of Judgment Booster Pack : Random Eye of Judgment card packs for $3.99.
- Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction : Originally anticipated for a 10/30/07 release date, you'll be able to pickup Ratchet & Clank Future this week.
Wii:
- Namco Museum Remix : While there's some retro games you may already have in some form of a re-release, there are some newly "remixed" games. Rally-X Remix even lets you use your Miis.
- Zack & Wiki Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure : Lots of different puzzle mini-games to solve with your Wii Remote.
Sony PSP:
- Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles : An essential for the Castlevania fan. This release includes the remake of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, the original Rondo of Blood game (PC ENGINE) and one of the best, if not THE best version of Castlevania, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1)! All for $29.99.
Nintendo DS:
- Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations
There's also a great deal on the original Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for the Playstation 3 on Amazon.com . Only $19.99. Can't go wrong with that. Eventually the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine will be downloadable or available at retail from Bethesda. The deal is good for today, October 22nd, only.
