If you're thinking about giving a Wii for a holiday gift, or getting one for yourself, you'll want to check online retailer Amazon.com today. Amazon.com will be getting Nintendo Wii consoles in stock today, October 31st. Wii Fanboy was contacted by an Amazon.com rep, giving the tip that "significant" Wii consoles will be available starting today at 1PM Eastern time (10am Pacific time). Check for Wiis sold by Amazon.com here.
From Wii Fanboy: "Well, you've got an honest shot at securing a console from Amazon.com come Wednesday morning, as a PR rep for the company has informed us the online vendor has been stocking up consoles and preparing to fling them out the door with equal the speed at which they arrived." Wii supply is expected to be slim this holiday season, so the sooner you secure yours, the better!
UPDATE: Wiis were available for $249.99 at around 1pm EST, but it appears to have been temporarily removed from Amazon.com's listings. If the top sellers are any indication, looks like the Wii consoles have sold out fast!
