God of War: Chains of Olympus UMD Demo: Battle of Attica Video PDF Print E-mail

If you managed to sign-up in time (all the way back in May 2007) for the PlayStation Portable UMD demo for God of War: Chains of Olympus, you should have it in your hands by now. The package, personalized with a note to your name, includes the Special Edition: Battle of Attica demo UMD, Collector's God of War keychain and a $15 off coupon for a new Sony PSP Slim system at Best Buy. A nice little package from the Playstation Underground.

Any doubts on Kratos' debut on the portable should be taken away with the demo. Ready at Dawn has done a great job on re-creating the experience of God of War I and II on the PSP's smaller screen, but you don't have to limit yourself to it. If you have the new PSP Slim and the PSP 2000 Component AV Cable (remember, games don't output on the PSP 2000 Composite AV Cable), you can play God of War: Chains of Olympus on a bigger screen. The video below was taken from the demo on screen (not that you may really notice on the YouTubed video), for those that want to see the highlights of the demo. If you're still waiting on yours, don't spoil it and wait till you get yours in!

Read a chat transcript with the game's developers here for more on the game.

God of War: Chains of Olympus is estimated for an early 2008 release on the PSP.
