A lucky customer at a Kmart store managed to snag an early copy of Mass Effect. The game is scheduled to be released for the Xbox 360 on November 20, 2007. There's obviously eager fans waiting to get their hands on the title, as the game went up on eBay for $100 and was purchased soon after. Not a huge profit, but not bad, considering the game retails for $59.99 . You may want to check your local retailers today to see if you manage to benefit on someone's slip-up. Good things come to those who wait (and pay $10 more), however, as the online only Mass Effect Limited Edition will land you a lot of bonus Mass Effect goodies:
