There's a new demo (or a real demo this time) for the Xbox 360's Blacksite: Area 51. Midway gives you a bit more of a taste of the FPS, featuring two levels from the single player campaign. The demo download will take about 988.11 MB of your Xbox 360 hard drive space. Visit the official website here at blacksitegame.com for more details and screenshots of BlackSite: Area 51.

About BlackSite: Area 51: "Featuring a powerful single-player campaign, along with numerous multiplayer modes including online-co-op, BlackSite: Area 51 delivers vicious combat action, next generation graphics and A.I., and a powerful arsenal of weapons and vehicles. Set in present day, players take the role of decorated military veteran, Aeran Pierce, charged by the government to lead a squad of secret soldiers, each with his/her own specialty skill set, into the Rachel, Nevada, area to fight off the invasion of unidentified enemy races."

Press release:

New Demo Available for BlackSite: Area 51 on Xbox Live

Midway today announced that a new Xbox Live BlackSite: Area 51™ demo is available today. The demo highlights two levels from the game's single-player campaign, taking gamers through the Rachel, NV town square and courthouse, and placing players in the gunner's seat during a helicopter escort mission through the desert canyons of Nevada.

The immersive and fast-paced action FPS title, which is available in stores now for Xbox 360 and PC in North America, will ship for PlayStation 3 in North America next month.

BlackSite: Area 51 gives gamers a chance to direct their living, breathing squad mates with a context-sensitive "One-Button Squad Command" control. Destructible environments can be reduced to rubble, creating interactive cover points that can be blown away with enough firepower.

Visit blacksitegame.com or midway.com for more information.
