PSP System Update 3.73 Now Available PDF Print E-mail

Another slight step up for the PSP firmware. A new system update to 3.73 is now available from the previous 3.72. The update addresses some random or rare occurrence of failing to load data from the UMD. Nothing notable, if that freakish sounding error never happened to you.

Use your PSP to get the update by going to Settings -> Network Update in the PSP's XMB. The update should be available online eventually from Sony's PSP System Update webpage. Visit the official PSP System Update page here to download firmware update 3.73 to your computer and transfer to your PSP via USB.

UPDATE 12/12/07: Sony Japan released details on what is coming to Firmware 3.80 on the week of December 17th. Read the details here.
