Nintendo's official website, Nintendo.com, gets a clean makeover. It's a timely update, to help shoppers find out more about the Wii, DS and the games available for them. While the N-Sider forums are gone, there's new features to make searching for games easier as well as learning more about the Wii and DS.
The two big entry points now are the "Tell me about" Wii or Nintendo DS. The site becomes more consumer, or parent, friendly with the Game Guide. You can sort games by "Biggest Buzz", as well as release date or name. There's additional search options like selecting favorite game types, "how you like to play," ESRB ratings and recent releases. Now if only they had some kind of a Wii tracker built in! You'll have to settle with a where to buy retailer list.
