Looks like Infinity Ward is looking for some action on the Playstation 3's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Xbox 360 gamers are out of luck on this one. Infinity Ward, on it's community site CharlieOscarDelta.com, has announced that PS3 gamers will get the chance to make double the experience points (XP) between Friday December 7th at 10 AM (PST) until Monday December 10th at 10 AM (PST).

From Infinity Ward: "We're kicking off a double XP weekend exclusively on the PS3 starting on Friday and lasting till Monday morning. Play at anytime starting at 10 am (PST) through Monday at 10 am (PST) and you'll earn double the XP in every game type. Rank up higher, unlock more all weekend long!"

Read more here on Charlie Oscar Delta.

One of these suckers lucked out this weekend.

Theyre probably getting worried why no ones playing it near enough as the Xbox 360, just accept it Xbox 360 has far more appeal and longevity

Its just a marketing ploy, there are way more Xbox 360s that PS3s, so they came up with this to sell more copies for the PS3
