Nyko is breaking the chains of the Wii Nunchuk. Nintendo's Wii Nunchuk cable to the Wii Remote may have gotten in your way for some games. Nyko's solution uses a "2.4-GHz wireless" Nunchuk that communicates to the Wii Remote via a device plugged into it. The Nyko Wireless Nunchuck features a power button as well as a wrist strap. IGN posted the first images on their website (here). The wireless Wii Nunchuk will be introduced at CES. Pricing and release date has not been announced, but we should know more around CES (January 7-10, 2008).

UPDATE 1/10/08: Pricing and release date for the Wireless Wii Nunchuck has been announced. Read more details here.

The only questions I have are about battery life.

Also, whether or not it works with multiple wiimotes or not.
This is just what I need . . .

Waste of money. It makes the Wiimote look twice as long and Is really uncomfortable

Is a nunchuck really a nunchuck without the cable? If you remove the rope or chain from a nunchuck, don't you just get two sticks?

Haa, the philosophical dilemmas...
not bad...

At least it eliminates that annoying cord.
