Unreal Tournament III: PS3 vs PC Comparison Video PDF Print E-mail
Written by Alexis M. (Rivithed)

Gamevideos.com has a lengthy video comparison between the Playstation 3 and PC version of Unreal Tournament III. Most of the subject of talk is about the speed of Unreal Tournament III's game play (too fast on PC/reduced a bit on PS3 for controller). A bit of griping about the gameplay and online trash talking in general. Watch the video below, which comes from 1up.com. Have you picked up Unreal Tournament III for the PS3 (or been playing it on the PC)? What are your thoughts?

too fast?
Written by Guest on 2007-12-20 00:00:00
This game is NOT too fast on PC, it's exactly right for this type of game. Fast paced and action packed, if you're too slow to handle it go buy a console and play the noob version.
Change the speed then!

Was it not stated that you can increase the default speed under options any if everyone is playing at same speed then whats the problem!!!!
PC GAMING IS LIKE SO 90's GHETTO!

its funny to read all the console tards completely miss the point of the video =P
UT is a great game, hope III lives up to the previous versions.
Give me the speed!
Written by Guest on 2007-12-11 00:00:00
The superfast hectic gameplay is what makes UT so much fun, take away the speed and it becomes no different from all the other fps games in a crowded market, guess i'll have to upgrade my video card and give it a miss on PS3.

I have it pre-ordered, actually waiting at home right now between lunch, because I've been to Gamestop twice already this morning, and UPS still hasn't delivered. So, yeah, really psyched that this is out on the PS3 today. Will most likely pick it u

PC sucks for games... I will be getting this for PS3 only. Mouse and keyboard are too 90s for me and upgrading PC every time a game comes outis pretty much a waste of money. PC is dead for gaming real gamers have PLAYSTATION 3.[B]PLAYSTATION 3

I'm a few hours into it, and the Unreal gameplay is all coming back from years ago! The single player is definitely a "warm-up" or tutorial for the online play. Has a nice intro, but doesn't get too deep after that. Love the gameplay in it. Fast an

fast = good
Written by Guest on 2007-12-21 00:00:00
UT has always been a very fast-paced game which is what sets it apart from a lot of other FPSs.
HOw is the PC so "90's"
Written by Guest on 2008-01-07 00:00:00
How the hell is the PC so "90's". The PC gaming community is far from dead. (it is just isolated form the console gamers). To play all the latest games on the highest setting is like buying a new $200 video card every 2-3 years. How is that more e

This Game rules also on Midrange PCs for about 600 Bucks...
Although i think Crysis is the better Game, even in Multiplayer... Poor PS3 users... cause its NOT possible to convert this total

I think the UT games kick ass but after an hour it gets boring just like every multi player only game...because it's mindless gaming...and yes, I'm making comments as I watch! haha

I just heard that UT III on the PS3 runs at 30fps...I'm pretty sure that's complete bs, I can tell the difference and I played both versions...
Hahahahaa!!!
Written by Moonfrost on 2008-04-05 00:00:00
*sigh*...all of you debating about this are all very, very sad...specially the PC gamers, and you call console gamers "kids"? and is it part of a trend that keyboard and mouse are better? maybe for FPSs and RTSs...but that's it. Most of you here make

I usually think controllers are just perfect or at least just fine for FPSs but not UT...I give that to you PC nerds! you're right, when it comes to the insane speed of UT it's faster to play with mouse and keyboard...but don't overdo it! and it seem
Both versions kick ass...SHUT UP!
Written by Moonfrost on 2008-04-05 00:00:00
Yeah, both versions kick ass, I played this on the PS3 and was suprised it was really f#$%ing fun, specially when you have a lot of drunken friends with you playing! and then the chatting online and all...it's really cool, definitely better than UT 200
Okayyy...
Written by Guest on 2008-04-15 00:00:00
PC ends up with most of the best console titles anyways. Not saying all there, so don't just be like "yeah but *game* isnt out on PC" :P

I have both PS3 and a PC, I've played both, and tbf PC version is a lot better just due to the mouse and keyb
