Three More Mods Come To Unreal Tournament III on PS3 PDF Print E-mail

Epic Games has helped release more Unreal Tournament III mods (in addition to one released earlier) and a mutator.

The three additional maps are:
DM-Elevation (download here)
VCTF-Slax (download here)
DM-Krodan (download here)

Mutuator:
VASUT3AutoShields (download here)

These mods are user-created (not from Epic Games). Epic Games is currently helping to translate them to the PS3 while the Unreal Engine editor is getting updated to support "cooking" of PS3 mods. As Mark Rein noted: "We're waiting on some paperwork from Sony that will allow us to release an editor update so mod creators can do this cook process for themselves. We expect to have that very soon."

These are some nice free additions to Unreal Tournament III. Keep the content fresh and free!

Cool but costly

the thing that needs to be released is a way for owners of just the PS3 version to make mods. id love to learn how to do this. iv been messing around with mods & 3d games for years. i love the idea of being able of make my own games using the unreal engine -non profit obviously i just like changing the engine from one thing to something no one would have though of- the only thing is i have to buy the game twice to make mods then play them on the PS3...

They nailed it for the PS3 and with the extra user created mods things can only get better.
